wild around the world at mfw

meandering through a few milan street style shots on marieclaire.com, I found myself wondering where else in the world I could find such wild accessories?! from tucans to pooches to metallics and more, I love how lively the girls in milan are making their ensembles this fashion week. inspired by their light-hearted looks, a blue pashmina scarf printed with zealous zebras may have worked its way into my wardrobe early this afternoon... what will be your next adorable attention-grabbing accessory?

red off the runway at lfw

besides my bias because I'm currently living in this lovely town of london, I felt incredibly inspired by the fashion frocks that surrounded somerset house at london fashion week... I admit I strolled through a couple times with no real reason to be near the runway, just to take a gander and a gawk at the awesome ensembles people put together. the confidence and creativity was contagious and no color says that better than a bright red! these gals took to standing out in the crowd in structured scarlet coats paired with plenty of white & black. my favorite? the leather overalls over the white oxford shirt and under a simple red blazer, quite cool!

february is a fantastic month not only for the cheerful amounts of chocolate your allowed on the fourteenth (even as a single gal) but also for fashion week and the stellar street style that comes with it! straight off the streets of new york, my favorite style moments seemed to rotate around an assortment of quirky prints, the more color the better. anna dello russo's red prada flowers felt sixties inspired and like true haute happiness... I may not be bold enough to take on the full yellow suit, but do you agree a pear sweater would taste so sweet for spring?

feeling felt

a fantastic piece of the london look is the feminine felt hat. we see fedoras, floppy brims, berets and beanies every day but lately I have been craving this girly number that adds a smidge more cute and class to your daily wardrobe. my plan this weekend is to hunt down one of these hats somewhere local then place it directly on my head to top off my layered look of sweaters, boots and blazers. are you feeling felt today too?
