not quite quick enough to be the first in this fashion bit, but I think the eyes still have it. the cool kids called kenzo made a moment with eyes on their pretty printed garments a little ways back in the fast paced fashion world & now that the craze has slightly subsided I find myself even more into this quirky print than I was before. paired with a solid sweater or some serious sunnies, I'd keep the ensemble simple & leave the statement all in the eyes.

couture keeps you ooh-and-awe-ing over all the ornate details each designer can create in one look. though the runways are rife with stern pouts & blue steel expressions, some serious fashion fans are having a bit more fun from the sidelines. here are a few moments that made me smile from vogue's very full coverage of couture :

I've decided right now I nearly only want one outfit every day. inspired by the less intricate ensembles of the chill chicks below - a pair of perfectly comfortable cutoff denim shorts with a shirt as crisp & clean as the clouds dotting our skyline. my love for luxe looking hats is no mere mystery & after unpacking my felt fedora & floppy hat in a recent relocation, I briefly missed their brims & the winter weather that allowed me to wear them. but as this may has been more moody than most, I don't see a solid reason why this style can't make its way into spring. these lovely ladies showcase how with a sweet dress & some sea waves our favorite felted brims are still the best!

though there's little less splendid than spending a spring day in a sundress, I dare to say that daytime denim is equally as awesome. in varieties of various garments from skirts, shirts & dungarees, distressed denim in a lovely light-wash is the look to look out for right now. replace those restricting skinny jeans with looser styles like the basic boyfriend or pick it up a pace with a pretty pencil skirt. keep your daytime denim light & fun for ultimate springtime style.
